The study is designed to demon-strate the economic and clinical ben -efits of daily home hemodialysis with the NxStage Medical's home hemodi-alysis machine, the System One. The FREEDOM study is the largest study of its kind, with planned enrollment of up to 500 home hemodialysis patients.
